A few memories…

So by now, it’s pretty much old news that the Cordle Fam is moving their base of operation to Jackson, MS. We’re all completely on board with this as a family, but that doesn’t mean that it’s going to be easy. Moving out of our home is going to take a while…both logistically & emotionally. As much as we’ve talked about the move, it just really didn’t become real until the girls & I came home today to find a “For Sale” sign in the yard.
After having a bit of a “moment”, we decided that it just didn’t feel right to have the sign out front while we were home for Thanksgiving. So, somewhat immaturely, we took matters into our own hands.

After taking care of that, we went and ate some lunch, then hung out with Joy & her 3 munchkins. We’ll try and work up a slideshow of that later. The realtor called and wanted to show the house at 5:30, so we left Joy’s in enough time to catch a skunk & hide it under mom & dad’s bed.
While the impostors were wandering our house, we went to up to the new Publix to find the fixins for dinner. It just so happened that it was sample day, so we ended up hanging out at the grocery for dang near an hour. We swung by the high school to reminisce a little, then by Eckerd Rite-Aid to grab a few things we forgot at Publix.
We divided up dinner prep, and had a really good fish+corn+green bean+bread meal. Anna also made some killer cupcakes, and I plan on eating as many as I can until I get too sick to continue. So…on that note, I’ll let you go so I can frost up another. Love y’all.

We got the call on Tuesday evening that Joy was headed to the hospital in Newnan to have Molly Beth. I was debating about whether or not to go visit them, and had almost decided to wait– Mom didn’t seem to think that she’d have the baby until sometime Wednesday morning.
So, I finished up some work & gave Anna a call. Cassie, Jen & her were packing up to head over from Jacksonville…they were under the impression that Molly Beth was going to be there in a few hours. By the time I called mom to get the story straight, the kid had already popped out!
I got to the hospital about 10 minutes after the girls (which coincidentally is about the same amount of time it took the Alabama State Trooper to write me a ticket on the way…). Once there, had a really great visit with Jeff, Joy, Joy’s sister, her mom, & Mitz. We weren’t able to hold Molly Beth that night, but she was pretty dang cute through that glass window.
We hung out at the hospital for a while, then left so they could have some family time. But not before they gave us our party favors!
We stopped by the Waffle House for some late night grub before returning to our respective residences.

Hey Bloggers… We have not been very good about keeping up with the Blog but Bo and I have made a deal that we will try to Blog once a week from now on. Last week was my roommate Jen’s Birthday. For her Birthday she wanted to go to this new place on the square in Jacksonville called Art on the Rocks. Art on the Rocks is similar to a Sips and Strokes. You bring your own beverage of choice and sit there and paint. An art student is up at the front teaching you step by step how to paint. It was so much fun. There was a group of 8 of us that went and everyone of our paintings were similar but they are looked just a little bit different. This particular night we were to paint some flowers coming out of a vase. The top picture is of me and Abby painting our pictures and the Bottom is of me, Jen, and Molly holding our finished products.
