Today I think that I did the stupidest thing that I have ever done well at least in a while! I am living on just a few hours of sleep and I guess that is the reasoning behind all of this…Monday I had a flat tire, Tuesday I lost my keys, I had a breakdown because I had to find my keys so I could get my tire fixed by 3:00 today so that I could go to Gadsden for my class that I had a test in, in the mean while I am having to study for the test as well as make up a Bible Study that I was teaching last night… I did find my keys but it was alot of drama! So… I did get my car fixed and went to my test. Ever since I found my keys I have kept them close to me for security reasons. Well, now for the dumb moment… Since I had a test I only took in my pen and my keys. I put my keys on the corner of my desk. I took my test and left the school. I am driving down the road and Dad calls and he asked me about my tire and I tell him and we talk a minute then hang up and when we hang up I am thinking about my tire and that makes me think about my keys. “OH CRAP WHERE ARE MY KEYS! I LEFT THEM ON THE CORNER OF MY DESK AT THE SCHOOL!” I make a U turn and start heading back to the school when I suddenly realize “HEY STUPID YOUR KEYS ARE IN THE IGNITION!” Wow! I am dumb! There is my blog for the day!

can’t type long. just need to vent. I have come to realize I am not as smart as I thought I was…
After studying for 15 hours total for a history and geology test… all that did for me was give me two D’s.
now after studying for about 6 hours for a economics test all i get is a C.what the frank(as anna would say)
maybe school just isn’t for me. any ideas on what i could do with my life?
annoyed and frustrated,Caroline
p.s- bo. punctuating and using capital letters is not cool.

Every Wednesday morning from 8:30-9:30 I go to the First Baptist Daycare, to observe and play with the kids for a class. I am in the 3 yr old room. There is this kid named Devonte, he is of the african american race. He is the cutest thing that I have ever seen. He is really funny, he can’t really speak very clearly but when I do understand him it is funny. Well today they were coloring a heart for Valentines Day and they were all telling me about there Valentine’s Cards that they were going to bring tomorrow for their party. The whole time Devonte was saying somthing and he kept on repeating it but I couldn’t really understand him because of the other kids talking over him. So I called his name and said “What did you just say Devonte?” (and after about the 5th time I had to ask him to repeat himself, he was getting frustrated with me) he said ” Guh, I’s just saying I aint got no Valentime… so I didn’t get no cards, You got a Valentime?” I said “No, I don’t” he said “you be my valentime? I go get you them legos that are magic…” I said “I won’t be here tomorrow Devonte” he said “thats fine I’ll keep them for myself… So, I guess that I could have had a “Valentime”

Don’t have too long to chat…I just woke up from a nap to the sound of my phone being noisy. It took a good 30 seconds for me to remember my name and figure out what day it was. Then another 30 to wipe the drool from my cheek. I’m apparently late meeting some folks at the Brick Oven for dinner. What they don’t know is, I’ve already eaten! Before the brainwasher of a nap, I reheated the enchiladas that I made for dinner last night. See, I’m trying to work on my whole cash-flow problem and start eating in a bit more. I believe I ate out for every meal but breakfast (and even a few of those) last week. Something has to give.
Here are a few things I’ve noticed since I’ve begun to cook again.
Mom, to you I must say thanks. You cooked nearly every day for a large portion of my life. Thanks not only in a ‘we ate healthier because we ate at home’ kind of way, but thanks for somehow in the process figuring out how not to make the house reek of the burnt pieces of cheese that may have fallen off a pan of enchiladas into the oven.

I’m very ashamed to say that I’ve never really been one to give much to charity. I know, it’s a shocking realization. Apart from sending a little bit to the Red Cross after Katrina, and the American Cancer Society every year or so, I just haven’t done it. The thing is, I would like to think of myself as one who gives to charity.
Enter Kiva.org. I found this web site a week or two ago and realized that sadly, I haven’t really given to charity because it wasn’t convenient or easy. Or at least it wasn’t convenient to give to the charities that I would really feel led to give to. However, on this site, I found Mrs. Dy Savai. Ms. Savai (she said I could call her Dy, but it felt kind of weird) is a 35 year old entrepreneur somewhere in Cambodia or something like that. The thing that really made me connect with Ms. Savai is that she sells fish. I love fish! She currently makes about $2 a day, but she needed a grand to really up her earning potential and make more fish available to her customers. So…I decided to help her out a bit. The Kiva site gives me occasional updates on how her business is going, so it really makes me feel good. Plus, she’ll end up paying me back my $25, and I can give it to somebody else! Now this is what the internet was made for.
Now, don’t confuse my friend with Anna’s Friend. At least I actually did something to help mine. That’s right Anna…step it up…have you done anything for DeDe today?

Welcome to the new home of the Cordle’s blog. Not that there was an old home, really. Hmm. Great start. Anyway, it’s been determined that as a family we need a blog. Several factors went into this decision.
So, now you may be asking yourself who our intended audience is.
Truthfully, the main goal is to make it at least one month before we let this site die a neglected death. Hopefully it will last much longer than that, but one month is the goal.
OK Cordle’s…I’ve paved the way. Now write something worth reading!
