Hey everybody…I’m back from Tampa. It was a pretty crazy trip that began with a bird flying into the engine of the plane, thereby canceling our flight. Due to a few other issues, a 45 minute plane ride became a 7 hour road trip. At least I get paid mileage. Anyway, all the meetings down there went well, and I’m finally going to get the raise that I was due last May.
I always love going back to Tampa because we normally make it out to Clearwater Beach for dinner, and I get to see where I docked after sailing 45 hours from Carrabelle in ‘04. Tuesday night we ate at the same restaurant that I hung out at with some of my new-found sailing friends. Fun memories.
I haven’t been doing so good this week as far as training is concerned though. Truthfully, I haven’t exercised since Saturday. No bueno. I think my body’s really glad that I’ve given it a bit of a break though. I haven’t been eating too healthily, but I haven’t gained any weight, so that’s a good thing. Maybe if it stops raining tonight I’ll get 4 or 5 miles in.
We have the UA vs. AU basketball game on Sunday. It’s on CBS, which means that I have a lot more work to do than normal. CBS has a contract with the SEC that doesn’t allow sponsor logos to be show on the courtside LED tables. So, I’ve spent a good part of this week creating CBS-friendly graphics that we can use on Sunday. Hopefully they’ll look good on TV. That’s assuming that someone’s actually going to be watching the game.

Wow! What an amazing weekend I had! For those who don’t know and are not up-to-date on the “Cordle Fam Blog,” I went to Orlando this weekend to be a Disciple Now leader! It was such a great experience and it is so cool the way God can use you in ways you don’t realize you can be used.My friend Becca and I left Thursday afternoon on a plane to Orlando. After some conflicts with our original flight schedule, Becca’s dad came and got us from Auburn and flew us to Orlando. We got to Orlando and found out we had 14 7th grade girls. We knew this was going to be a challenge but we were so excited! We spent Friday and Saturday with these girls, getting to know them, loving on them, and teaching them what it means to be “Purified in Christ.” Our theme verse of the week was 2 Corinthians 1:7 ”Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contains body and spirit, perfecting holiness and out of reference for God.” Throughout the week, we had a jar and in the jar the girls would write down struggles that they wanted to give away to God.Whether it be music, shows, gossiping, etc… Then the last night we burnt the papers, this was really neat and you could tell God was working in these girls lives! I am so glad God gave me the opportunity to do this and hopefully I will get to do it again! This week is a pretty busy week for me. I have to be able to identify 40 different rocks on Wednesday. I mean really…why is this necessary?? miss you love you! p.s- I have yet to figure out why when I post all my sentences are bunched together. Bo-help please!

Hey Fam!
This morning at church the Sermon was great and I just thought that I would share this with yall! Carlton, the preacher, spoke on God’s timing from John 7:1-9. In the sermon one of his points was that we just have to trust God and even though things might be going slower or faster than we would want we just have to know that this is God’s plan for our life.
It was really good for me because lately I have been stressing about getting out of this place and wishing that I knew my major when I first got here and mad about all the stuff that has prolonged my graduation date! BUT in the mean time I have really been pumped about this semester because Jen and I have started up a Zeta Bible Study and it is going great, there is a pretty constant group of about 10-12 girls that have been coming.
In this sermon I realized that everything is God’s plan, yes I am here a little longer than I am suppose to be but God is doing great things and I AM suppose to be here. Who knows what will happen in the extra time that I am here but I just have to trust the Lord.
I love yall!
As I read over this I think 2 things, 1- Please don’t think that this is a “Cop-Out” for an excuse. And 2- This is def. a “Mama Blog”

Hey Everybody!
Hope you all had a great valentine’s day. Mine was pretty good…worked a women’s basketball game (AU beat UA), then ran a few miles, then worked on the computer for a while. The best thing about my day was that I didn’t spend a single dime. It’s been a while since that’s happened on v-day.
It looks like I will be able to go to Rooks’ wedding shower tomorrow night…I bailed on the basketball game I was supposed to go to in Birmingham. I think I’ll drive up early and go have lunch with Andy & Anne. They’ve got a contract down on a different house, and I can’t wait to see it. I have another basketball game on Sunday, then I’m headed to Tampa for a few days on Monday. I’ll try and write more later-
Oh, and who knew Goob was flying a private plane to Orlando?

Happy Valentines Day (or as Anna Catherine’s friend would say Valentimes)
“Keep company with The LORD and see how He loves..not with caution, but extravagantly..not in order to get something but to give everything..LOVE LIKE THAT!”
Ephesians 5:1-2 (The Message)
Evrybody love evrybody? (as Todd would say)
